With the equations of Fig. 18-28, the output current is:

$i_{out}= \frac{1 \ V }{10 \ k\Omega }= 0.1$ mA

$R_{L(max)} = (10 kΩ) \left(\frac{15 \ V }{10 \ V }-1\right) = 5 \ k\Omega$
