The equivalent capacitance of the parallel combination is:
C_{eq} = C_{1} + C_{2} = 6µF + 3µF = 9 µF
The magnitudes of the charges Q_{1} and Q_{2} on the two capacitors are:
Q_{1} = C_{1}ΔV = (6µF)(18 V) = 108 µC
Q_{2} = C_{2}ΔV = (3µF)(18 V) = 54 µC
