We know that the maximum current flows at resonance when X_{L} = X_{C} and Z = R

Maximum current,           I_{0}=I_{m}=\frac{V}{Z}=\frac{V}{R}  [∵ Z=R]

Therefore,                          R=\frac{V}{I_{m}}=\frac{230}{1.5}=153.3  Ω

At resonance,                    V_{L} = V_{C} = 600  V

              V_{L} = I_{m}  X_{L} = 600  V

    X_{L} =\frac{600}{1.5}=400  Ω

or,                                 2πfL = 400

  L=\frac{400}{6.28  ×  50}=1.27  H

  X_{C} = X_{L} = 400

or,                          \frac{ 1}{2πfC}=400
