Modify your simulation in Example 5-4 and simulate the system without the compensation terms. Assume that the load toque is constant at its rated value. Keep the same initial conditions as in Example 5-4. Plot the error in the estimated θ_{da} (\text{error} = θ_{da} − θ_{da,\text{est}}) as a function of time. Compare in steady state the amplitudes of the phase currents to the case with no error in the rotor resistance estimate, as was the case in Example 5-4.
