To maintain V_{i}(\min ) \geq 7.3 V,

 

V_{r}(\text { peak }) \leq V_{m}-V_{i}(\min )=15 V -7.3 V =7.7 V

so that

V_{r}( rms )=\frac{V_{r}(\text { peak })}{\sqrt{3}}=\frac{7.7 V }{1.73}=4.4 V
