We have to find the Thévenin’s equivalent voltage and resistance across the load resistance terminals. Replacing the bottom half of the Δ circuit by Y -circuit, we get, with

Z_{bc} =3 ,Z_{bc} = 1, Z_{bc} =1

 

Z_{a} = \frac{1\times 1}{3+1+1}=0.2

 

Z_{b} = \frac{3\times 1}{3+1+1}=0.6
