The milling operation is to create the profile of workpiece. The milling tool
starts its motion from the home position S, and then it passes a series of working points in the order of S → A → B → C → D → E → F → G → H → I → A → S. The toolpath includes two arc motions. The first arc is B → C → D in the counterclockwise direction, and the second arc is G → H is in the clockwise direction. The G-code for the motion along the toolpath is written and shown in Fig. 4.108b.
