Advertising Guideline

Holooly’s Advertising Standards meticulously delineate policies and offer comprehensive guidance regarding permissible and prohibited ad content. Upon placing an order, each advertisement undergoes a thorough review to ensure alignment with our policies. Additionally, our Advertising Standards furnish explicit direction on advertiser conduct that could potentially lead to the imposition of advertising restrictions on a Business Account or its associated assets, which include the ad account, Page, or user account.

Prohibited Content & Content Standards

Misinformation: Holooly prohibits ads that include content debunked by third-party fact checkers. Advertisers that repeatedly post information deemed to be false may have restrictions placed on their ability to advertise across Holooly technologies.

Inflammatory Content: Ads must not contain claims that a person or group of people are a threat to the physical safety, health or survival of others on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease, disability or immigration status. Ads must not promote statements of inferiority, contempt, or disgust, or other content identified in Tier 2 of the Community Standards’ Hate Speech policy, based on legal immigration status.

At a minimum, ads may not be targeted to people under 18 years of age.

Social Casino Games: Ads for social casino games, which are online games that simulate casino gambling (e.g. poker, slots, roulette etc) where there is no opportunity to win money or money’s worth, are allowed only if they are targeted to people 18 years or older.

Copyrighted Content and Registered Trademarks: If the Advertisers do not own them.

Discriminatory Practices

Ads must not discriminate or encourage discrimination against people based on personal attributes such as race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, medical or genetic condition.

Holooly prohibits advertisers from using our ads products to discriminate against people. This means that advertisers may not (1) use our audience selection tools to (a) wrongfully target specific groups of people for advertising (see advertising policy on Targeting), or (b) wrongfully exclude specific groups of people from seeing their ads; or (2) include discriminatory content in their ads. Advertisers are also required to comply with applicable laws that prohibit discrimination (see advertising policy on Illegal Products or Services). These include laws that prohibit discriminating against groups of people in connection with, for example, offers of housing, employment, and credit.

Any United States advertiser or advertiser targeting the United States, Canada or certain parts of Europe that is running credit, housing or employment ads, must self identify as a Special Ad Category, as it becomes available, and run such ads with approved targeting options.

Ad. Review Process

Our advertisement review system predominantly leverages automated tools to assess ads and business assets for compliance with our policies. The initiation of our ad review process is automatic and precedes the commencement of ad circulation. Typically, this process concludes within 24 hours, although certain circumstances may necessitate additional time. Throughout this assessment period, the ad status will be designated as “In review.” It is important to note that ads may undergo subsequent reviews, even after going live. For further details, please refer to our Support team.

The ad review system meticulously scrutinizes ads for any potential violations of our policies. This comprehensive review encompasses specific components of an ad, including but not limited to images, video, text, and targeting information. Additionally, the evaluation extends to the ad’s associated landing page or other destinations, among other relevant information.

Review outcome

Should a violation be identified at any stage of the review process, the corresponding ad will be rejected, and consequential restrictions may be imposed on the associated Business Account or its assets. It’s worth noting that lower-quality ads, while not necessarily violating our policies, may experience a diminished performance impact. For further details and assistance, please do not hesitate to Contact us.

In the event of a restriction placed on a Business Account or its assets (ad account, Page, or user account), the affected account or asset becomes ineligible for advertising across our technologies. However, it’s important to highlight that if a user account is restricted from advertising on an account, other members within those accounts may still retain the ability to advertise.

Landing Pages

Ads must not direct people to non-functional landing (destination) pages. This includes landing page content that interferes with a person’s ability to navigate away from the page.
